Black Hills Field Trips with IBA - Thursday & Friday

Join Dr. Kevin Horton and Mr. Mike Mueller from the Institute for Biblical Authority for free guided field trips in the Black Hills area. Participants will meet at 8:00 a.m. each morning at the First Assembly Church of Rapid City, and caravan in their own vehicles to each stop on the field trip.

Black Hills Field Trips with IBA (Thursday)

Thursday’s free field trip includes a visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Sylvan Lake, and a scenic drive along the Needles Highway in Custer State Park, as a part of the Black Hills Adventures and Conference. This tour will start at 8:00 a.m. at the First Assembly Church of Rapid City.

Stops include:
• Visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial in Keystone, SD.

• Lunch in Keystone, SD.

• Short presentation at Rushmore Express Inn in Keystone, SD.

• A one-mile hike around Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park.


Black Hills Field Trips with IBA (Friday)

Friday’s free field trip includes including a visit to Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park, and a scenic drive along the Iron Mountain Road in Custer State Park, as a part of the Black Hills Adventures and Conference. This tour will start at 8:00 a.m. at the First Assembly Church of Rapid City.

Stops include:
• Visit to Crazy Horse Memorial in Crazy Horse, SD.

• Lunch in at Crazy Horse Memorial Visitor’s Center in Crazy Horse, SD.

Costs

Registration for the field trips is free, but all costs associated with admission into sites, and lunch meals is the responsibility of the field trip participants.
