Time Activity Location Description
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Life-Size Fossil Display Open Exhibit Hall Take a remarkable walk with the remains of dinosaurs, mosasaurs, pterosaurs, and other captivating creatures. Learn how fossils confirm biblical creation and the Genesis Flood. *Paid admission required to enter exhibit hall.
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Fossil Examination Station Atrium In this activity, participants will use a microscope to compare real dinosaur fossil pieces and mammal bone samples to observe differences between the two samples. This activity is come and go, and will typically take 10-15 minutes.
11:05 a.m. “Dinosaurs and the Bible” presentation with Dr. Jake Hebert. Founder’s Hall Many Christians are unsure how dinosaurs fit into the Bible. Dr. Hebert explains how the Bible easily makes sense of the historical and scientific evidence about dinosaurs. He also demonstrates how to develop a biblical worldview.

11:05 a.m. “Feathered Dinosaurs and Other Evolutionary Fairy Tales” presentation with Dr. Tim Clarey. Founder’s Hall Most popular movies, TV shows, and books portray dinosaurs with feathers and claim they have an evolutionary relationship with birds. This talk dispels these myths and presents the science of dinosaurs as found in the rocks themselves. Much of what is taught in public schools is not based on the evidence. Dinosaurs did not evolve into birds, did not develop feathers, did not have evolutionary ancestors, and did not live millions of years ago. Dinosaurs were designed fully-formed as a unique group of reptile kinds, just as the Bible describes in Genesis.
12:05 p.m. – 12:50 p.m. “Backyard Paleontologist: How we find, dig, and replicate fossils” demonstration by David and Sara Mikkelson. Building B Join us for an interactive fossil molding and casting demonstration. This activity is intended for students 3rd grade and above. Space is limited to 20 participants on a first come first served basis.

11:05 a.m. “Five Dinosaur Facts” presentation with Dr. Frank Sherwin. Founder’s Hall A creationist and evolutionist can work together to dig up a dinosaur fossil. They will just disagree on where the dinosaur came from, how long ago it lived, and what killed it. Dr. Sherwin begins this talk by asking children under 12 to identify pictures of some of the more popular “thunder lizards.” He then uses the fossil record to show that dinosaurs have always been dinosaurs—they didn’t evolve from other reptiles or turn into birds. Evolutionary scientists teach many strange theories about how the dinosaurs died off, but much can be explained by the worldwide Flood of Genesis.
