10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Fossil Examination Station | Atrium | In this activity, participants will use a microscope to compare real dinosaur fossil pieces and mammal bone samples to observe differences between the two samples. This activity is come and go, and will typically take 10-15 minutes. | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Fossil Petting Zoo | Atrium | Dinosaurs come to life in a new way as you touch real fossils and learn about the creatures they used to be! |
10:15 a.m. | “Dinosaurs and the Bible†presentation with Dr. Frank Sherwin | Founder’s Hall | A creationist and evolutionist can work together to dig up a dinosaur fossil. They will just disagree on where the dinosaur came from, how long ago it lived, and what killed it. Dr. Sherwin begins this talk by asking children under 12 to identify pictures of some of the more popular “thunder lizards.†He then uses the fossil record to show that dinosaurs have always been dinosaurs—they didn’t evolve from other reptiles or turn into birds. Evolutionary scientists teach many strange theories about how the dinosaurs died off, but much can be explained by the worldwide Flood of Genesis. |

10:15 a.m. | “De-Evolutionizing Dinosaurs†presentation with Mr. Dave Napier | Founder’s Hall | Who doesn't like dinosaurs? There's only one thing bad about them. Every time you hear about them it's "65 Million Years ago...". The truth is, we have evidence of man living with dinosaurs. If dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago, like we are told, how did people know what they looked? This fun and engaging presentation is meant for all ages and discusses the evidence that dinosaurs are in the Bible, lived with man, and walked the earth in recent history. The observable evidence points to a recent creation. |

Particular attention is given to the geology of the so-called impact site at Chicxulub and what it reveals.
**Please note that this presentation is part of the monthly meeting of the Day4 Astronomy group, which meets starting at 10:30 a.m. in Founder’s Hall. This meeting is open to the public, and will run from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. |
