Hi, my name is Dr. Jake Hebert. I’m a physicist and research associate here at the Institute for Creation Research. ICR has been an enormous blessing in my life. When I was an undergraduate physics student in 1994, friends from church invited me and my brother on a summer trip to southern California. We got to visit a lot of neat places, including La Jolla and San Diego’s Balboa Park. But for me, the absolute high point of the trip was the visit to ICR. Although ICR's original museum in Santee was small, I found its displays, including the Noah’s Ark, Tower of Babel, and Ice Age exhibits, to be absolutely delightful.
Visitors to ICR’s new headquarters in Dallas, Texas often show that same delight, even though we currently only have some fossils and a few displays to show them. Just think how a high-quality facility would help us reach the next generation with the creation message!
Construction is already underway for the ICR Discovery Center for Science and Earth History. We are working hard to make it a first-class regional destination for those wanting answers to their origins questions. Our plans for the Discovery Center include a really “cool” Ice Age theater where you can learn about the Ice Age, woolly mammoths, ice cores, and climate change. Attractions will also include a state-of-the-art planetarium, dinosaur exhibits, and more!
Please prayerfully consider contributing financially to help us complete this significant outreach.
