He made me not
Isaiah 29:16
29:16 He made me not. The context here is that of rebellious ancient Israel, but the anomaly expressed here is surely modern as well. Today, men of great intellect or great power or other God-given abilities are denying the very existence of their Maker. But the time is soon coming when “the terrible one is brought to nought,” and “the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 29:20,19).
